hunting

Hunting season at PriestView is from September through March.

We offer hunting in a variety of settings, including flat fields for hunters with limited mobility. The Preserve is 460 acres covering large open fields, rolling terrain, and wooded areas.

Hunts are available for individuals and small parties with a maximum of 4 persons.

A larger group is welcome to hunt as divided groups in separate fields. Please call use to book larger groups.

Your safety is our primary concern.

Hunters must:

Have a valid and current Virginia Hunting License
- Out of state hunters must obtain a Nonresident Hunting Preserve License
- More information is available from the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources
Bring your own gun and ammunition in appropriate gauge
- #7½ or #8 shot is recommended for quail and chukar
- #6 shot is recommended for pheasant
Wear a Blaze orange vest or hat at all times
Sign our Safety Guidelines and Release form when you arrive
